Frank needs Teddy for what Teddy is able to do, manage and move. I feel that without Teddy, Frank and Grace would have been “knackered” long before they were, but that’s my opinion. I find it very telling that Grace clearly identified Teddy as her “next of kin,” as he was the one called when Grace committed suicide. What else do Grace and Frank say about Teddy?
