Cagli is a small
town in the northeast of Italy. There are roughly nine thousand residents.
Nestled in the mountains of the countryside, the people of Cagli cling to
their traditions. One such tradition is practiced by the business owners.
These merchants and shopkeepers keep one of the old customs alive by continuing
the operation of small specialty shops in Cagli. These rustic stores reveal
a quaint way of life that the people of Cagli have passed down from generation
to generation. Some of these businesses have been around for as long as
one hundred years, many of which have been passed down throughout Cagliesi
families.
