Dublin

Although we only spent two nights in Dublin, I had a wonderful experience. We arrived Thursday to our adorable purple Hostel And then given the entire day to do whatever we pleased. I did some shopping and exploring. The shopping area was incredibly crowded and lively. There was live music, people selling fruit and teenagers selling lottery tickets to support a local rehab center. Temple bar was beautiful and lively as well. On Friday, we went to the Irish Writers’Center. The building was beautiful and full of great resources. We also got a tour of Abbey Theatre which was absolutely fantastic. All in all, while Belfast did have my much loved MAC, Dublin beat Belfast by a long shot.It was full of interesting people from all walks of life and some really amazing history.
