I’m obviously a bit behind with blogging but after Saturday and Giant’s Causeway and the beginning of the very busy John Hewitt Summer School, I’ve been a bit distracted. The festival has begun though and it’s amazing. Admittedly, it is a little intimidating to be surrounded by so many brilliant people but at the same time it’s incredibly awesome. I’ve been to two poetry readings. Each reading had two poets each and both were really great. Last night, we saw the duck variations which is a one act play. It was hilarious. Today we are presenting our plays and journalism pieces to the summer school. It should be very exciting / nerve wracking. I can’t believe how quickly this trip has gone by. It’s nearly the end and I feel like I just applied last week. It’s going to be tough to leave. Armagh has been great. Everyone here is so welcoming and kind. I’m excited to get home but I will greatly miss my time here and all the amazing people I met, especially everyone through ieimedia. We have about four days left here. It’s so hard to believe. Here’s to making to the most of the last four days! And to our presented work today! 🙂
