I’ve been noticing a number of interesting textures as I wander around the city, and I now have the opportunity to share them somewhere.
Coming from a relatively young country, I find it fascinating to see how old buildings and walls age and change over time, loosing the smoothness of the brick in exchange for a mottled and pock-marked appearance. It’s not unlike human-aging if you really think about it (cough, cough, wrinkles).
And so, without further gusto or ado, I give you (some of) the textures of Armagh:
Excellent observations. So much of the character of Armagh is in these photos. They feel very different than what the textures of my town in Illinois might yield up. No comment about the wrinkles…
