Just to let you know I’ve uploaded the power point presentation I would have given you on Friel at the Irish Writers Centre, but for time running out on us … you’ll find it in the Armagh Students 2014 dropbox folder. It might be useful before tomorrow night’s session on Dancing at Lughnasa.

(You know when Lughnasa is, don’t you? August, the month named after the Celtic God Lugh (of the long hand) and Lughnasa was one of the top Celtic festivals, the harvest festival, along with Samhain (Hallowe’en), Imbolc (February 1st, associated later with St. Brigit) and Beltane (early May, the fire festival associated with the God, Baal.
